The reason I call it The Old Landmark is because, it takes you back to the real sanctified music. Songs that had some meaning, not that the new does, but it doesn't touch me like the old.

Contemporary country release.......2007-07-11

This is not your adverage MTB release, but it's worth the purchase before it becomes completely impossible to find. It's a scaled down version of the band as they reunited in 1988 - at least Doug Gray & Jerry Eubanks from the original crew. It was released to the country market, & it definetly has that sound. Doug handles the songs extremely well however even without being in best voice at the time. The highlight to me is the title track. It's worth a listen. Grab it up Tuckerheads!

Not their best effort........2001-11-04

The Blind Boys are probably my favorite gospel singers, but this effort lacks the driving spirit which marks most of their work. The arrangements are saccharine - and the production values are lacking - but still there is a charm to the album.
