"Live and Blessed In Chicago" opens up with "The Praise Song". The song, which may be evident by it's name, is a praise song to the Lord. The songs says that yes, life's troubles may cause you to be down and question things, but remember God puts us through those things to make us stronger and not only that, He always delivers us out of those situations. He does so many things for us that surpasses our understanding, but it's all for a reason, and for that, we should praise Him because He loves us so much. After "The Praise Song",the choir goes on to praise God even more and exclaim that He's "Holy, Holy, Holy". The album almost comes to an end with the moving "He's Worthy". The fast paced songs are "He Died For Me" and my favorite "Joy of The Lord". If you're a fan of Walt Whitman and The Soul Children of Chicago, then you won't be disappointed with this album, but deeply annointed.
