    4 out of 5 stars Another Excellent Effort By Matthew Skoller!!!.......2002-12-19

    Even though he was born in New york, Matthew Skoller sings and plays the harmonica like he was born and raised here in Chicago. His tone, style and delivery can easily be compared to any of the great master blasters that Chicago has been producing during the last 50 years.

    This CD is definitely a shining example of what Matthew skoller is capable of. the songs and the band are as tight as any you'll get a chance to hear. The songs are mostly Skoller originals with covers by Percy mayfield, Big Walter Horton and Junior Wells thrown in for good Measure. The overall blend is a terrific mix of good, honest Blues.

    I definitely recommend this album.

    Harpman Skoller has it down. He's played sideman on many a disk. Now, on two of his own releases, he shines and establishes himself as one of the top Chigago style players. He's got an edgy vocal style that fits perfectly with his fat harp tone.
