Few bands of the 1960s retained as much a sense of the roots of rock and roll as did Creedence Clearwater Revival. Their music is rife with country, rockabilly, and R&B influences, a combination that produced several hit singles--most of which are present on this collection. These include "I Heard It through the Grapevine," "Lodi," "Up Around the B ," "Who'll Stop the Rain," and of course "Bad Moon Rising." This is an excellent greatest-hits collection, and a perfect introduction to the music of a band that has been enduringly influential. --Genevieve Williams

5 out of 5 stars great stuff.......2007-06-27

listening to this CD makes you realize how great john fogerty was back in the day. great songs, great sound.

5 out of 5 stars Gets me going in the morning.......2007-06-27

I've been listening to this CD for 2 weeks in my car on the way to work.

5 out of 5 stars Soundtrack of an era.......2007-06-15

This is an excellent compilation of CCR's tunes from the late 60s, early 70s. There's a reason why Credence tunes kept popping up in movies and commercials. It's great music and evocative of the era from which it comes. No need for me to review the individual tunes; anybody with a radio has head most of them. A must-have for any music fan.

5 out of 5 stars CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL JUST KEEPS ROCKIN' AND ROLLIN'........2007-02-13

I will be writing a review on the legendary compilation album entitled "CHRONICLE, VOLUME TWO, TWENTY GREAT CCR CLASSICS" by one of Rock's most sacred legendary bands of all-time, I give you one of America's pride and joy's, CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL. This legendary album would be originally released in 1986 on Vinyl/LP, Cassette and Compact Disc on the Fantasy Records label. Like "CHRONICLE, VOLUME ONE, 20 GREATEST HITS," "CHRONICLE, VOLUME TWO, 20 GREAT CCR CLASSICS is released on a special Two-24-Karat Gold Compact Disc set edition. The 24-Karat Gold coating produces a highly reflective surface for the laser signal. In fact, the Gold CD is the ultimate experience in recorded music. As always, if I hear any new additional information concerning this legendary compilation album or the artist, I will edit this review immediately so that you the consumer will get the best informative and most accurate review possible.

The whole world was blessed with the original "CHRONICLE, VOLUME ONE, 20 GREATEST HITS" when it was released in 1976. Now the whole world would be blessed again ten years later with the release of "CHRONICLE, VOLUME TWO, TWENTY GREAT CCR CLASSICS" in 1986. Its only appropriate that Fantasy Records would release another compilation collection on this legendary band, there was just not enough room to put all of their hit songs on the first volume. When you listen to "CHRONICLE, VOLUME TWO, TWENTY GREAT CCR CLASSICS," you realize that this band really recorded some fantastic hits throughout their whole career. It also makes you wonder what took Fantasy Records so long (Ten years) to release the second volume. In my opinion, "CHRONICLE, VOLUME TWO, TWENTY GREAT CCR CLASSICS" is another true testament of the sheer greatness, graceful genius and a fine tribute to a legendary band that has already been proven to be ahead of their time.

Now we get to the most important part of the whole review, the music. If you want to hear the true Rocker's on this compilation album, listen to the songs such as "Walk On The Water," "Susie Q (Part two)," the breathtaking "Born On The Bayou," the Little Richard classic "Good Golly Miss Molly," the rugged "Tombstone Shadow," "It Came Out Of The Sky," the Elvis like Rocker "My Baby Left Me," the wicked "Pagan Baby," the soulful heartfelt "It's Just A Thought," the tough rockin' "Molina," the spirited "Born To Move" and the Ricky Nelson classic "Hello Mary Lou."

The slow Rock Ballads on this compilation album are the classics such as "Wrote A Song For Everyone" and "(Wish I Could) Hideaway." CCR could really show their sensitive side by playing a little more mellower.

The only slow Blues Rocker on this compilation album is the classic song "Night Time Is The Right Time." This Blues number is a true heartfelt song recorded the CCR way. CCR could really play the Blues.

The Country Rockers on this compilation album are the classic songs such as "Cotton Fields," "Don't Look Now (It Ain't You Or Me)," the ever popular "The Midnight Special," "Before You Accuse Me" and "Lookin' For A Reason." These are pure Country Rockers, my favorite is "The Midnight Special."

Overall, this is one hell of compilation album that compliments the other original volume perfectly.

I would like to highly recommend purchasing this second volume compilation album to own as a valuable and important part of his or her own personal music collection. This legendary compilation album has already been proven to stand the test of time and will always be around to be enjoyed, appreciated and cherished for many years to come, NOW AND FOREVER.

In closing, CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL will forever be remembered as the people's band that represented the youth culture and the bikers of the turbulent sixties and beyond. Their music expressed the feeling of how the times were unfolding during the turbulent sixties and into the seventies. When CCR broke up, one of Rock's greatest all-time bands would be silenced and laid to rest. The world was waiting for a reunion but all hopes would be shattered with the untimely death of TOM FOGERTY on 6 September 1990. FOGERTY would die as a result of AIDS given to him through a blood transfusion. Prior to his death, the FOGERTY brothers did not get along and would be fighting constantly throughout their whole career together. TOM FOGERTY was establishing himself in his own right as a songwriter and singer but remained in the shadow of his brother JOHN FOGERTY throughout their whole career. TOM FOGERTY would be the first CCR member to quit the band and go solo. CCR would later break up in 1972. However, the remaining surviving members would have a brief reunion while receiving Rock's highest ultimate honor of being inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame in January 1993. As of this date, JOHN FOGERTY resolved his conflict issues and legal disputes with his old record label Fantasy Records and is now back with his old label better than ever keeping the CCR legend alive. So here's to you John, the late great Tom, Stu and Clifford. And as the saying goes, "AND THE REST IS ROCK N ROLL HISTORY," am I wrong? Thanks for reading my review and I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it for your reading pleasure. I also hope that you will read all of my other reviews in the near future when time permits. CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL LIVES. JOHN FOGERTY RULES. R.I.P. TOM FOGERTY, Born 9 November 1941, Died 6 September 1990. Long Live Rock n' Roll. Rock out always and take it easy. Forever In Rock, John L.

5 out of 5 stars Chronicles 2: Twenty great CCR Classics by Creedence Clearwater Revival.......2007-01-19

The band CCR formed during the turbulent times of the 60s and early 70s, they gave poetic justice to that period with original compositions and made even greater classics out of old tunes. They created entertaining melodies with political fore-thought. They did this without profanity nor by debasing the religious beliefs of others...unlike many of today's young artists. This album deserves five stars.

4 out of 5 stars A closet-cleaning, but a damn good one.......2004-11-01

This twofer is a typical '70s closet cleaning, but contains most of the good songs Taylor cut for Stax, before he left for Malaco (in Stax's demise) and all their drum machines. Contains much of his macho posturing tunes like the "Jody" series, but also some of his light political work, like "I Am Somebody." If you're looking for a singer who reminds you of that guy at the other end of the bar, Taylor's your man. Since it's doubtful he'll get a career-wide retrospective that will tie together the gritty Stax work, the Columbia disco years and the Malaco mildness, one can settle for this and a copy of Disco 9000.

4 out of 5 stars best set out there?.......2007-04-13

JSP is known throughout the music collector world for having the highest in sound quality (for a relatively small label devoted only to reissues, box sets etc). This set includes all of the master takes Bird appeared on on the Savoy, Dial, Guild, Bel-Tone, and Comet labels, during the years 1944-48, plus a disc containing most of his pre-bop recordings, including demos, some of which are very rare (though not very interesting in my opinion). The main stuff, '44-'48, is some of the most important music recorded ever, and consequently it's not hard to come by- what makes this set unique is the combination of price, quality, and completeness. This set can be compared with "The Complete Savoy & Dial Master Takes", which has only 3 discs and costs about $50. Granted, the sound quality on that professional reissue set is noticeably superior, but JSP is nearly there and like I said, better than MOST. You could also compare this set to the similarly-priced Proper box set, "Boss Bird", four discs covering the same ground, with highly inferior sound quality- and it's a little more expensive! For one who's never dug Charlie Parker, I'd get a single disc, like "The Legendary Dial Masters vol. 1" or even a general comp like his volume of the "Ken Burns' Jazz" series. If you find yourself a total Parker freak, the step after that would be "The Complete Savoy and Dial Studio Recordings" which coves the same ground, with highest quality of all, plus every known alternate take, demo, etc- 8 discs, $80, and increasingly harder to come by. OR, if you'd prefer to spend $25 to get pretty much the same thing (minus alt takes and a little sound), this box set will definitely do.

5 out of 5 stars Tom Pethic.......2007-01-31

Bird was the greatest altoist, period. These are some rare sides with Bird with a vocalist...Bird Lives

5 out of 5 stars Sounds Great.......2005-12-02

I own both the Complete Dial and Savoy recordings, and the sound on this set blows both of those away. As another reviewer pointed out, the first disc contains a bit of hiss, but other than that, this is the best sounding CP I have heard.

Combine that with the quality of Bird's playing on these tracks, and you can't beat it. There is such joy, emotion, and straight up fire in his playing it is easy to see how Bird burst on the scene and forever changed jazz (and for that matter American) music.

5 out of 5 stars Bravo Mr Kendall.......2005-11-20

JSP, run by an eccentric British jazz fanatic called Ted Kendall, has a habit of turning out box sets of older jazz recordings that put the big companies to shame.

Having put out the best available set of Hot Fives, Kendall turns his attention to the second most important jazz recordings of all time - the Savoy and Dial sessions of Charlie Parker.

I am totally new to bebop, having cut my teeth on Coltrane and Miles Davis. This box set is like the New Testament of jazz - Charlie Parker and his compatriots had discovered a radically new way of playing jazz, bebop, in a series of low budget recordings that mark the Anno Domini of postwar music.

The centrepiece is the legendary Ko Ko session of November 1945 - with the war over, the ban on recording was lifted, and Parker could reveal his discoveries to the world. Ko Ko itself is possibly one of the three most important jazz cuts of all time (along with West End Blues and Body and Soul) - a dazzling improvisation entirely on chord changes, with no reference to the original melody ("Cherokee", by Paul Whiteman) at all!

JSP has seen fit to include excellent editions of all the Savoy and Dial master takes - that's right, ALL of them (although there has been some discussion over the fact that alternate takes have been substituted in some cases - presumably because Kendall prefers the alternates). The box also constitutes a studio archaeology - because fully two discs of the five contain material from BEFORE the epoch-making Ko Ko session. It includes, too, the notorious "Lover Man" session of 1946, when Parker was strung out, drunk out of his mind, and had to be held up to the mike - a slurred solo of genuine pain, unthinkable from the swing era.

This is the real deal - cheap, well packaged and well transferred - if you are starting out in bebop you cannot do better.

5 out of 5 stars Charlie Parker: The Dictionary of Jazz.......2005-09-11

Charlie Parker was the most influential improvising soloists in jazz, and a central figure in the development of bop in the 1940s. A legendary figure in his own lifetime, he was idolized by those who worked with him, and he inspired a generation of jazz performers and composers.

Parker was born Aug. 20, 1920, in Kansas City, Mo., and came to music while in junior high school. In the late '30s he jobbed around the city, honing his technique and tone. He first recorded with the Jay McShann orchestra in between 1940 and 1942. The early 1940 radio transcriptions and the later commercial sessions for Decca show Parker pushing at the edges of the swing parameters with an explosive gift for unexpected phrasing and twists.

His progress over the next two years was striking but largely undocumented, due to a recording ban imposed by the musicians union. By the time he resumed recording in 1944-'45, his dazzling improvisations at breakneck tempos ("Ko Ko," "Donna Lee," "Shaw Nuff") astonished young jazz players as profoundly as they threatened veteran ones, thus setting the new against the old and triggering the first major internecine musical controversy in jazz history.

But the battle deepened into a cultural as well as a musical war as Parker's penchant for hard drugs and hard living further defined bebop as an outlaw music with an implied lifestyle that many chose to follow.

The definitive recordings of Parker's career were made for Savoy between 1945 and '48 ("Now's the Time," "Thriving Of A Riff," "Billie's Bounce"), and for Dial from 1946-'47 ("Ornithology," "A Night In Tunsia," "Lover Man," "Scrapple From The Apple"). They sold poorly but were as profoundly influential to young post war players as Armstrong's Hot Sevens and early big band sides had been to musicians of the '30s. Even during his most innovating period Parker remained something of a mystery figure to the general public. His picture never even appeared on Down Beat's cover during his lifetime.

The third major chapter of Parker's work began in 1948, when Norman Granz began recording him in different contexts with a view toward taking his music to a wider audience. By now his major innovations were over and his repertoire had narrowed to small number of staples. But an album with string accompaniment produced a mother lode of brilliant new Parker solos that would be his last major work. He died in 1955 at the age of 35 of a combination of drug related medical problems.

In 1955, Parker was elected by the Readers to the Down Beat Hall of Fame, just following his death.

The Studio Chronicle 1940-1948 is a five-disc box set from the British label JSP detailing what producer Ted Kendall considers to be THE essential studio recordings of saxophonist Charlie Parker. Included here are not only the innovative bebop sides that made Parker a living legend, but also the early Kansas City swing recordings he appeared on while playing with the Jay McShann Orchestra. The result is a studio history of Parker's development from a struggling farm kid turned musician to the most important figure in jazz history next to Louis Armstrong. Given that these recordings are widely available, the real attraction here is the faithful-to-the-original remastered sound, the historically enlightening liner notes, and the overarching critical aesthetic that these are the Bird cuts to check out. Also, given that the tracks are presented with few repeats on discs in chronological order makes this better listening than Atlantic's Complete Savoy and Dial Studio Recordings 1944-1948. Oddly though, the only place Kendall delineates what labels these tracks were originally released on - mostly Dial and Savoy - is in the track listing and there only by label numbers. Despite this confusing omission, Kendall has produced a superb collection that illuminates more than it overlooks.

This Truly dictionary of jazz in 5 CD's shows that CHARLIE PARKER'S MUSIC is magical music. It is irresistible music. Listen to it once and you will never stop.
His music sometimes begins to flow into your head, suddenly, during daily life. Once this happens, his music will sound in your head for good.

Very well done collection of tracks put together by Death Row. All these cuts show Dre in his prime. Mostly tracks from the Chronic & Doggystyle...nothing from "2001". Good record to start out with for the newbie Dre fan. Peace

5 out of 5 stars Awesome.......2006-11-20

I have listened to this (as an LP) since it first came out in 1968 as a thirteen year old Tiger fan. It still gives me goosebumps all over my body listening to Ernie then (and presently)! I gave it five stars since I couldn't go for ten! Go get 'em Tigers!

5 out of 5 stars Memory Lane.......2006-07-22

The quality is circa 68; but just hearing ernie harwell calling some of the games is worth it! Plus, I just love the sone ... "we're all behind our baseball team, go get 'em tigers, world series bound and picking up steam..."

5 out of 5 stars National "past"-time.......2003-10-20

As a native Detroiter, I loved this album as a kid. I've rediscovered it as an adult on this CD and couldn't be happier hearing the familiar old voice of Ernie Harwell calling plays from a championship season. It is pure joy listening. A must for all Tigers fans.

3 out of 5 stars Great clips, but...........2000-04-21

This CD had some wonderful clips of the 1968 Tiger season brought to life by Ernie Harwell and Ray Lane. However, the narrated segments between the game clips often had background music that became very overpowering. It was frustrating to try to listen to narration about the season only to have it drowned out by loud, obnoxious "background" music. The CD could have done without the music, period. Whoever mixed this CD must have been incompetent. If you can ignore the annoyance of having music overpower the narration and concentrate on the wonderful clips of Harwell and Lane calling some exciting moments and interviewing Tiger players like Bill Freehan, Al Kaline, Jim Northrup and Jim Price, there is a lot to enjoy here.

5 out of 5 stars Nice Updated Recordings.......2007-04-23

I pretty much get just about anything by Paul Rodgers I can get my hands on. Of course I already own all of these songs in at least one other version but I still had to have this set.

The Free and Bad Company recordings are all updated re-recordings and while it's hard to beat the orignal these version are a nice change of pace. I especially like the new versions of Alright Now, Can't Get Enough and Feel Like Making Love. The last three songs I believe are the same recordings from the Muddy Water Blues and Hendrix set discs.

This cd is expensive but I am glad I bought it. I also recommend you get your hands on the re-recorded version of Rock and Roll Fantasy which I got on iTunes but is not on this disc or any other I know of. A version of Can't Get Enough is also available there I can't tell from the 30 second sample if it's the same version from this disc.

So, if you're a Paul Rodgers fan and would like a break from listening to the exact same version of these classics that you've been listening to for the last 30 years this disc is worth it.

I can't stress enough that I still love the originals but if you listen to music and Paul Rodgers as much as I do then you'll appreciate a little variety. After they don't make 'em like this anymore.

The expanse of Miles Davis's recordings for Prestige Records, the California analogue to New York's Blue Note, is huge. In terms of artistic development, the eight CDs in this box span Davis's development from tentative searching through the full bloom of his first great quintet, whose frontline boasted Davis and a young John Coltrane. The sessions captured on Chronicle begin in 1951, with Davis's grainy debut for the label in a sextet with Sonny Rollins, and continue with the fascinating Lee Konitz-led quintet that Davis was eminently adaptable to, even with the kind of angular sounds Konitz's band drummed up. Listing the remaining sessions would be an exercise in boasting, given the presence of so many virtuoso bop and postbop giants. Given that Davis may well have piqued Prestige founder Bob Weinstock's interest through his playing with Charlie Parker, Bird shows up on a 1953 date, doubling tenor saxes with Rollins. Some have remarked that the pre-1954 Davis dates don't show nearly the smarts of the 1954 and after works, but for all that huff, there's some deep stuff in the early sessions, from the twined tenor saxes of Al Cohn and Zoot Sims to Davis's own uneasily fragile tone that hadn't taken on the full heft of its later precision. Then there are the quintet recordings, which carve out a secure spot for Davis in the annals of ultracreative jazz. Recorded in three marathon 1956 sessions, the quintet works came out on several LPs, all of which remain in print today in their exact form. The group sculpts a liquid groove that's got sharp teeth, what with Philly Joe Jones's crackling drums, and immeasurable tonic depth. Davis stays active in the midregister, blasting off lines that do indeed sound slow and methodical but also emit unmistakable impressionistic qualities that would wow fans for decades. Coltrane, himself still in a developing phase, drops lots of hints that knew bebop's architectonics so thoroughly as to be on the brink of deconstructing them definitively (which he later did on Giant Steps). Given the full trajectory of the music and the artists on these sessions, this is a majestic collection. --Andrew Bartlett

    Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Miles has Style.......2006-05-08

I had not heard these tunes since the lp days. My interest in jazz has recently rekindled. Prestige has done a wonderful job. So much of Davis' early music is fun and accessible-even to new fans. He has selected many of the finest sidemen each with their own unique style--Milt Jackson, Thelo Monk, Sonny Rollins, Jackie McLean, and John Coltrane.

I have to say that the slightly raw quality of the recordings adds abit to the excitement for me. I like the van Gelder sound. It gives an illusion that the performance is live. I virtually always prefer life performance recordings--mistakes and all.

While you lose the unique "concept" quality with the big box reissues, it certainly provides hours of entertainment on full discs illustrated with interesting comments and photographs. This is a great set.

Coltrane on these discs and his other Prestige recordings are some of my favorite.

4 out of 5 stars simply superb collection of artist.......2003-12-25

finding this album in mumbai for about 60$ was too good an offer to resist.there is no denying that miles davis was simply superb.a great collection of great artist.u can feel the flow of music pass from one artist to another.hats off to the makers of this box.

4 out of 5 stars Lots of Ballads.......2000-10-25

This is a well-presented package; you get nice perspective on Miles' life and on the sessions that produced these music.

The music itself is varied. As a listening experience, it's clear that Miles tended towards ballads and towards interpreting popular songs through his trumpet. I prefer the weightier parts on here ... "The Serpeent's Tooth" (great underheard theme) ... Sonny Rollins' compositions ... much of the music is centered on a singular melody line though.

So, it's interesting music (there's a who's-who of 50's jazz musicians moving through the credits) but to me less so than Miles 60's quintet, or Miles 1970's explorations in funk.

4 out of 5 stars Some Indispensable Recordings, Some Forgettable Recordings.......2000-10-19

I am a very, very big fan of the pre-electric Miles Davis. Not to take anything away from Satchmo, Duke, or any of the greats that peaked before this era, but in my mind the golden age of jazz is from about 1955 to 1965. There is a timelessness about the styles of this era, and the assortments of artists in this competitive mix make this a kind of Periclean age for the genre. You could paper a wall with the sleeves of jazz LP's that came out in 1958 or so, throw a dart at the wall blindfolded, and not come away with a booby prize. Still, if after a few throws you did not have something from Davis's first quintet, you might feel a bit cheated. This was not an era during which it was easy to stand out, but this box set includes recordings that are glitteringly exceptional.

On this box set are songs so indispensable that my wife had better grab the kids if the houseboat starts sinking because I don't want to live without the best versions of such songs as "My Funny Valentine", "Diane", and "Surrey with a Fringe on Top" that Davis ever made. Discs Five through Eight, which are the original Miles Davis Quintet recordings, see a developing John Coltrane. Coltrane does not yet show the freedom and emotion of his Prestige box set, nor would Davis have tolerated it, but he was already a brighter talent than many saxophonists could ever hope to be, and he works well within the structured environment of these pre-modal Davis arrangements. (By the end of their collaborations, Coltrane's forays beyond even modal improvisation and his tendency toward the chaos of free jazz made him no longer a good fit with Davis). These discs are the work of perhaps the most legendary assemblage of jazz giants that has ever existed. In my book, this group was topped only by addition of Cannonball Adderley, the frequent substitution of Bill Evans for Garland, and the improved recording technology that had occurred by the time Davis moved to Columbia records and made Kind of Blue.

The quality of sound is an issue with me on this box set. I suspect there is only so much that can be done with recordings made before the advent of stereo or, on the earlier discs, before even the existence of the LP. The sound quality is certainly adequate, but it is a distinct step down from the recent reworkings of Davis's Columbia recordings. Secondly, the first four discs do have some interesting pieces and some interesting sidemen, such as a young Sonny Rollins and even a cameo by the Bird. But if the houseboat sinks, I might trade one for the dog, or even a kid if I don't get another tie for father's day. The work is very uneven and even the best of it does not match the brilliance of the last four discs. Davis was struggling with a substance abuse problem during much of this period and it shows. These two reasons are why I give this set only four stars. I seldom listen to the first four discs, and I am contemplating trying the JVC reworkings of the original quintet recordings to see whether the sound quality makes these rather pricey single CD's worthwhile. The quintet's work is a must have, but if you must have one and only one box set, try the Columbia release of all of the work Davis and Coltrane did on that label.

    5 out of 5 stars amazing.......2000-09-25

This collection of Prestige recordings are as much a biographical and historical look at Davis' ups and downs as a man as that of a musician.

The listener has to be aware of Miles' life during the years of 1950-55 to better understand what they are listening to. Alas, much of this period starts and ends with his heroin habit. This habit was all consuming and certainly physically took its toll on Davis. His playing also suffers a lot of the time due to it. There are some sessions where he sounds together, and others (the gut wrenchingly sad "Round Midnight" take with Charlie Parker (a rare tenor sax appearance) right before Bird's death, where both Miles and Bird's playing sounds like they were nodding off on heroin during it) where it is close to disaster. Despite the downs, Miles WAS a professional and while his tone was at points very thin, he gave it his all.

Discs 1-3 showcase that lost period, while discs 4-8 showcase Miles on the rebound from his habits, and the slow and steady recovery of his tone, chops, and musical career with it. Not surprisingly, the tracks, grooves, and voice that we love Miles for, improves dramatically on these discs, and discs 6-8 are the finest efforts, with Miles and his 1st great quintet's "Steamin," "Workin," "Relaxin," and "Cookin" lps featured.

This collection is an amazing journey. If you are willing to take the great with the not so great, then this collection is for you. All Miles completists need this collection for its musical and historic value. At times rough and gut wrenching, and by the end glorious and astounding, but never dull, the set is a gem.

    4 out of 5 stars Pure Soul.......2005-08-09

I love this album, because this is what true soul is about!! "The Sweeter He Is," "I'll Be the Other Woman," and "I'll Understand" are a few examples of the funk and soul that came from this group. Unlike Glass House, the Soul Children had an extremely funky, soulful, gospel-like sound that could only be produced by Stax. Their harmonies were raw, loud, and kicking!! If you love Isaac Hayes, The Staple Singers, or Albert King, you'll love this.

5 out of 5 stars The best sounds around.......2005-08-09

I enjoyed the soul children very much, and I would to have
    more of their recording.

5 out of 5 stars This cd is great!.......1999-07-29

This cd is one of the greatest by the Soul Children. I feel that the Soul Children is one of the greatest groups of the 70's and would like to hear more from them. Their songs were from the heart, and as a listener you could feel it.
