Beefy, choice selection of tracks from the Texan rock vocalist, born Marvin Lee Aday. Ten tracks in all, including three recorded live. Includes 'Paradise By the Dashboard Light (Live)', 'Bat Out of Hell (Live), 'Modern Girl' & seven more.

Watch Out there are two albums with the same name.......2004-07-28

The one u want is the real bad attitude(with a picture of a woman on a motercycle)This is Meatloafs 3rd best album it contains only two steinman songs but who ever wrote the other ones does a passable imitaion. the highlights are Modern Girl and the awsome ballad Slailor to a siren. The other Bad attitude(w/ Meat on the cover)is a cross between bad attitude and blind befor i stop pluse a few live songs. It is not as good maily because of the omission of sailor to a siren.

Meatloaf w/o Jim Steinman.......1999-05-02

Bad Attitude contains mostly songs that were written by artists other than Jim Steinman. Overall it is a decent new venture, but not in the same league as Bat out of Hell or Bat II. However when you reach track 4, "Surf's up", you KNOW this is a MeatLoaf/Steinman song! "Surf's up" is on the same bombastic level as "Paradise" and "I'd do anything...". It is one of my personal favorites. Definitely worth checking out.

Original 2 CD set.......2003-06-27

The cd pictured is actually Vol 1 and only half of the set. There are 2 cd's to the original release which includes Vol 2 which includes Sunny Agternoon, All Day & all of the night, Who'll Be the Next in Line etc., which is now out of print. The 2 cd set includes all of their big hits. 10 songs on each CD. If you want the real thing make sure you are getting 2 cd's.

a decent Kinks comp for the price you get.......2002-09-17

For the amount of tracks you get and most of these are classics, you can't beat this disc for the price. Retro Music/St. Clair actually licensed these tracks from what was then Castle (now Sanctuary) and they actually used the master tapes for these tracks. It isn't the fault of Retro Music, it is the fault of the tapes which are not that high fidelity sounding anyway which is just fine for this kind of music. This is highly recommended for any Kinks fan.

You Get What You Pay For.......2001-05-22

If your objective is to only have "You Really Got Me" on CD, buy this disc. But for a little better retrospective of the Kinks' early years, buy the Greatest Hits package on Rhino, which covers the years 1964-1966.
