Produced by Steely Dan's Gary Katz. Recorded 3 blocks from Ground Zero in Tribeca New York on Murray Street. This album is the second release from Singer/Songwriter Phil Mann. Mann's first album contained musicians Andy York (John Mellencamp band) Will Lee (David Letterman band) and Doug Petty (Enrique Iglesias). This second album "Peace" employs Mann's live band who are currently playing in and around the New York City area. My Fine Friend Phil consists of top players in New York, some of the best the City has to offer. Songs "Peace" and "A Little Help" are inspirational songs which touch upon the tragedy of 9/11, "Soldier in the Sky" upon the job of our fighting men and women in the skies above their targets. The remainder of the album consists of fun, light-hearted melodic songs with a roots rock feel and driving beats.
