    Book Description

What a Mess America Is In! is concerned with the way America has changed. It is seen through the eyes of an American citizen baby boomer of Irish and Native American descent who has seen both sides of American economic society, worked hard to find the dream, and then lost it to outsourcing and "grab the money now" shortsightedness. It explores the history of America from its beginning and moves through the American Revolution, the Civil War, the Great Depression and eventually into present-day life and politics. The writing style of What a Mess America Is In! is quite different from the norm because it is written in a storytelling form, making use of common folk language. It explores the reasons why events have occurred and ends with ways to solve our present dilemmas. The book's real purpose is to make people think and do something about our American situation instead of traveling through life, preoccupied with traffic jams and everyday life.
